Rice growing is a new way of making money and can be very profitable in the long run, in this guide I shall explain it all (well all I know)

Firstly you need to lease a field,
PRICES BELOW:

Fields 1 – 2 ¥300,000 each
Field 3 ¥400,000
Field 4 ¥500,000

There is also a daily fee for leasing land costing ¥3000 each field
NOTE: From level 1 – 100 you can only lease 4 fields.
For Maximum profit, it’s advisable to lease all four fields

Total being, ¥1,500,000
Note: Based on buying all four fields

After leasing the fields you have to buy seeds costing ¥40,000, with a maximum of 4 bags per field (1 bag of seed is capable of growing 10 bushels of rice)

Total being ¥640,000
Note: Price is based on 4 fields with maximum seeds (4 bags per field)

Before you plant the seeds you need to hire workers, they are required for Planting and Harvesting.
Note: its 1.25 workers to every bag of seed (4 bags = 5 workers)

Workers cost ¥5000 as a signing up bonus (one off fee)
And cost ¥800 daily for when they are working and ¥500 when they are doing nothing,

Total Being: ¥100,000 (signing up fee)
Note: Daily price will be explained later on in the guide,
The price is based on 20 workers (5 per field)

Also, Before Planting you will need scarecrows, they are required for planting, growing and drying the rice.
Note: For maximum results, it’s advisable to buy 6 scarecrows per field.

Scarecrows cost ¥10,000 each, there are no daily fees.

Total being: ¥240,000
Note: Based on 6 scarecrows per field

Guards, Well hiring guards is your choice, guards are use to protect your field from sabotage (which will be explained later on), and are used while harvesting and drying, It’s a risk...
Note: It’s a maximum of 6 guards per field, for maximum protection.

Guards cost ¥5000 as a signing up bonus (one off fee)
And cost ¥1500 daily for when they are working and ¥1000 when they are not.


Total being: ¥120,000 (signing up fee)
The price is based on maximum protection (6 per field)
Note: Daily price will be explained later on in guide.

FUNDING THE PAYROLL IS PROBLY THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN RICE GROWING, IF THIS IS NOT REGULARLY CHECKED YOU COULD LOOSE YOUR FIELD, YOUR WORKERS, YOUR GUARDS, ITS WHERE ALL THE DAILY FEES ARE TAKEN FROM.

To fund the payroll what you do is go to the side heading on rice growing saying ‘FUNDING THE PAYROLL’
ADD THE AMOUNT OF ¥ NEEDED OR MORE,

NOTE: TO CHECK THE DAILY PAYROLL, GO TO FARM DETAIL AND IT SHOULD BE AT THE BOTTOM.

Rice Stages are:
Planting: 1 day
Growing: 2 days
Harvest: 2 days
Drying: 2 days

Note: you will need to change the stages manually, to do this go to view land, when a stage has being reached it will have a blue border round it, (red if left too long), click on the square and at the bottom in green writing it says the next stage, e.g. plant now, Harvest, click on it and then it should move on.

A full cycle takes 7 days (A WEEK)

SABOTAGE: Well I have not done this myself and not had this done to me, but I know you can steal rice, kill their workers, steal scarecrows and even burn down a entire field.

Price: 2.6mill (excluding daily fees and maximum workers + guards + scarecrows + all four fields.
Estimate of weekly fees for 4 fields maximum workers + guards = ¥350,000

Profit: AT ¥12,000 each rice bushel you’ll get 160, that’s ¥1920000, that’s a profit of ¥1620000 every 4 crop cycle.

Note: Based on 4 bags of seed per land 5 workers 6 scarecrows, 6 guards and all four fields.
